Please don't stop the music

I am determined to make this day go smoother than the last few and turn the rest of this week around.  The Doodle Bop has been through 3 changes of clothes in less than 24 hours already.  Make no mistake, he is fully potty trained - but sometimes has issues getting it *all* shall we say, into the potty.

My hands are bruised from three days of struggling with the booster seats in the truck.  Sunday night we surprised the twins with booster seats instead of their car seats, now that they are big enough.  Silly me, I thought there would be more room in the back of my 2004 Ford Explorer.  Try less, much less.

Let me 1st profess my undying love for my Ford Explorer - the only thing that would make me happier is a bigger Ford Explorer - I freaking love it and never thought I would ever even consider driving anything else (unless we had a 4th child and needed more seats...which no, is not yet happening).  Right now though, I am so freaking fed up with the struggle each and every time I need to get the boys in and out of the car each day.  (Which happens several times a day by the way.)

Did I also mention the CD player in my truck is no longer working?

Yeah.

Went to put a different CD in yesterday and it makes these horrible scraping noises because there is suddenly a CD stuck inside that can not eject itself.  Which I suspect has been jammed in there with pennies and other change from one, if not two of my 3 year olds.  Those boys will not roll on each other though so it's a lost cause trying to get to the bottom of this.  They have recently learned to stick together and deny, deny, deny.

As a side note I should tell you they are never left in the truck unbuckled - aside from the literally seconds it takes me to walk from one side to the other to open their door.  I have a habit of keeping change up front for coffee and every so often I catch the boys leaning into the front as I'm walking around the truck and grabbing the change.  We had caught them shoving it into the heating vents and the last time the truck needed to get repaired we told them it was because of the change (which of course it wasn't).  Thought that was nipped in the bud.

I feel like I'm going into this funk.  Summer is coming (eventually, right?)... I have not yet lost any of that weight I promised myself I would.... and I'm still trying to juggle the kids, work, the house, and writing.  Not going so successfully.  Organization has never been my friend.

Trust

Working on getting the Mommy Gamer up and running, still have to get moving with the Examiner and I have more than a few posts to submit for Buy-Her so I need to get cracking.

Where is the spring weather when I need it!

Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 is over and the boys are calling me into the living room so ... duty calls.  Here's to hoping the lovely iced coffee I got this morning starts to help turn this mood around.  And these cute little faces (who may or may not have jammed pennies into my CD player).

My money is on the one on the left.  Looks guilty, doesn't he?
