CVS Caremark All Kids Can Patriots Day

Through my writing, the Big Guy and I have been granted an amazing opportunity tomorrow.  CVS Caremark is hosting a program at Gillette Stadium tomorrow called 'All Kids Can Patriots Day', which is in it's 4th year.  The stadium will be transformed into a “gridiron of dreams” for children with varying disabilities who are affiliated with Easter Seals Massachusetts and from different communities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Not only do the kids get to spend the afternoon with former New England Patriots, but they even get to BE a Patriot for the day!  The Big Guy, along with the other kids, will start by running onto the field through an over sized Patriots inflatable helmet.  (That?  I can't wait to see!)  They will have instruction time for warm-ups, stretches, running drills, blocking, kicking and throwing.

Lunch will be served and then the kids will all have a chance to secure autographs and have their photos taken with alumni.  The New England Patriots mascot Pat Patriot will be there along with the Patriots cheerleaders.  The afternoon will wrap up with a visit to The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon.

While the Big Guy is having fun, Al will be on the field with him and I will be tweeting from the sidelines under the hashtag #AKCPatsDay.  And taking as many photos as I can.  While the slots for participants are full, I wanted to help get the word out about this amazing program.  Stay tuned tomorrow to follow my tweets.  A blog post complete with photos from the event will come shortly.
