Rock-a-Baby

The Bunny Bee, Doodle Bop and I went to Rock-a-Baby this morning at Bellani Maternity
where we met Becca and B.  Becca had been asking me to bring the twins for weeks now but I hadn't been able to make it work with their school schedule.  Since this week is vacation we were IN!

Rock-a-Baby is a class that introduces music to infants and toddlers in fun new ways!   Through interactive play, children have an opportunity to feel like they are in the band.  Each week has a theme and today's was the Jungle.

I have to say I tried a few music classes with the twins when they were smaller and I never really liked them.  I was surprised to find myself really enjoying this one, with songs like Elton John's Crocodile Rock and Steve Miller Band's Jungle Love.  All of the songs went with the Jungle theme in one way or another.

Kids get to play music
Interact with the puppets
Dance and so much more.

Instead of just reading a book?  They SING the book to the kids!

My guys loved the bubbles.
How's that for an action shot.  It might be hard to tell, but there were bubbles Everywhere!  That's the Doodle Bop reaching to grab one and the Bunny Bee popping one that landed on his cheek.

Big thanks to Mark, Kate and Benny with Rock-a-Baby for having such a great class!  And Becca for making sure I finally got to check out a class!
