Thankful Thursday - Presented without photos

As promised. This week I am thankful for the little things.

A once again completed fence for the backyard. (Which means no kids - or puppy - slipping out.)

My kids falling head over heels in love with the 2013 Ford Explorer (9 years newer than our own)... even if there were tears when we had to give it back.

The amazing people at Enterprise (Post Road, Warwick). Extremely sympathetic and just overall wonderful. They have my business for life.

Trying out the Lincoln YMCA with the indoor spray park with good friends.

Watching my oldest baby get stronger and stronger in swim lessons... confident in jumping in the water himself and going down rushing water slides without fear.

Getting the twins results on their most recent Pals test. Bragging like crazy here, both scored a 100 (out of a possible high of 102) ... different questions wrong too. Hilarious. My smarties.

A husband who stepped in to get some things done for me when I could no longer handle a situation.

And my absolute favorite?
Going out to dinner with Al and the kids the other night.
The boys got so freaking silly. They started pretending they had strings attached to their faces and as they pulled the 'strings' they made all different faces. At the same time. Where they get this stuff from I have no idea. Al and I laughed so hard - I actually cried. Which made the boys be even sillier and I cried even harder between the laughs. I can not remember the last time I laughed so hard I cried real tears. Can you? Love my boys.

What are YOU thankful for this week?

  4. Makes me realize I need to sit down and write all I am thankful for. I will start with being thankful that I sit here, reading your blog, taking a day off with my almost 5 year old. Precious moments.
