Oscar night

Last night was the Oscars.  My sister in law and I got all dolled up and headed over to Audrey's house for her Oscar party sponsored by Orville Redenbacher

We got lost on the way.  What's funny about that is not only do we both have phones with a GPS on it (that we didn't know how to use), but I forgot to take the GPS I always use out of my truck before my husband went out.  I pulled up the directions on Mapquest (side note: my husband says I'm one of only like 8 people who still use that site?  Is that true?!) and tried to print them.

And the printer would.not.work.  Of course!

So I scrambled to jot down the directions thinking I pretty much knew where we were going, because my grandparents lives relatively close to Audrey's house.

Lets just say we were more than fashionably late thanks to some missing street signs (or maybe we just didn't see them in the dark), but we did manage to get there just before the Oscars started.  Walking up to the door was hysterical.  I wish I had taken a photo.  Paparazzi snapping your photos.  LOVED it!

Inside we met the other girls, got to snacking on some really good food and had a few drinks.  Mmmm cosmos and appletinis!  We even walked the red carpet and posed with an Oscar!

Here's my sister in law (who I should check with about a name so I don't have to keep calling her sister in law, lol).

Me on the red carpet.

I got my HauteTag from Becky!!!  Which I happen to be rocking as I write this.

Everyone looked so nice all decked out and we were live tweeting the Oscars together #orville.  This photo is one of Audrey's, some of us on the couch live tweeting.  My sister in law and I are the last 2 on the right.

We played Oscar bingo - and my sister in law won a really cute Land's End bag!  Awesome swag at the end!  Orville Redenbacher's popcorn, Redbox movie rental and Jess LC Jewelry!  The whole night was a great time and we met some really nice girls.  Here's my sister in law getting back into the limo before leaving.

OK, well that looks like she's getting out.  Who can remember after all the excitement!
