Driving home from the beach today I was lost in thought about what a great day the boys and I had... and how I would blog it all out. I practically wrote the whole post in my head as I belted out songs on the radio with the boys before they started to fall asleep.
As always, then ... it happened. The totally random thing that throws me off my blogging track.
After the boys were all showered up I was helping to towel them dry when the Bunny Bee raised his arm and something caught my eye. A small wooden splinter, in the middle of his armpit. HOW I ask you does a 3 year old get a splinter in his armpit in the first place?
I am at a loss. The poor guy. Do you know how freaking long it takes to get a splinter out of a squirmy crying 3 year old's armpit? Yeah. His brothers tried to comfort him and were very sweet. After I got it out (and peroxided) the Bunny Bee was hysterical and I told him how proud I was of him.
Tears and all he nods at me and says 'Yes, I was so brave'.
