Dots

Things have been pretty exciting lately, haven't they.  We just got home from NYC last night so I will have a big post (or two) about that shortly... but first?

This!

A few weeks ago, my mom and I went with the boys to the Dots opening in Woonsocket.  I'll admit it wasn't exactly where the boys wanted to be, but we were off to their soccer pizza party with trophies afterwards ... so they were coming along for the ride.

Their very 1st ribbon cutting!

I was totally impressed with the quality of the clothes.  It has been years since I was in a Dots store.  I would have to say the last time being when I was a college freshman at UMASS Amherst.  It was one of the only stores in a small strip mall near the college.  Back then my taste was more Abercrombie shall we say (though my pockets couldn't quite afford it).

Now that I am older and oh so much wiser... and a mom of 3 small guys... I prefer price and quality over name shall we say.  I can't always pay top dollar for something that quite honestly will probably fall apart after it gets worn a few times.  Ever had that happen ladies?  I'm all about saving money while still getting fashionable clothes - like my new found love for Marshalls and TJ Maxx.

I took some time to shop around and for just $35 I was able to get the really cute long gray sweater you see above, the gray hat and a necklace/earrings set.  Just $35.  Not only does Dots try and stay on top of what's trending, their website even has a What's Hot Now section where you can see what the celebrities are wearing and how you can get a similar look at Dots.

In addition to tops, bottoms, dresses, shoes, hats and accessories I am loving their sweater collection.

Look how cute!  Already I am thinking of what would love cute for some holiday parties that are coming up.

I have a giveaway, on behalf of Dots.  Four $10 Girlfriend Pass Gift Cards.  Head on over to Buy-Her for more details, where you can enter to win!!! Just click here.
