NINE DAYS!
Did I mention that's 9 days without naps? While weekend naps were given up months ago, the twins still nap most weekdays... but since we had a full week of swim lessons that I booked during nap time naps went out the window.
And I made it. Holla!
While I will totally admit I can't wait for summer vacation and weekly trips to the beach, for right now I will just be glad to have the routine of the boys back in school a glorious 5 mornings a week. Yesterday the boys were out of their mind bored and wanted to roast marshmallows over the fire pit outside. Having forgotten to buy marshmallows at the market I thought quick and tossed two packages of yellow Peeps out the window to Al. I have to say I was pretty proud of myself for thinking of it.
The boys thought it was hysterical as they shoved the Peeps on their sticks.
OK so the Bunny Bee couldn't tell if he liked it or not.
But they sure were fun to throw into the fire pit.
They already informed me that next time? They want to use the purple ones. FINALLY finding a use for all those leftover packages of Easter Peeps. Yaay!
In other news, things around here are about to get busy. Starting tomorrow, our Monday nights will be spent at the YMCA for 2 hours of swim lessons - class for the Big Guy followed by class for the twins. Wednesday nights you can find us at the baseball field for the Big Guy's practices and games on the weekends. Hello spring. Also? Wish me luck. I'm tired just thinking about all this.
