Linking up a day late for Thankful Thursday, due to being hit with a migraine before this post was finished yesterday. So I'll start with that. I am thankful my migraine is gone and that I have a wonderful husband who took care of the kids so I could sleep.
This week I am also thankful for:
Making it through Hurricane Sandy with my house in one piece - not even a loss of power.
No that is not my kids out in the hurricane, the photo was taken the day before I promise.
At one point it looked like our tree would be coming down in the yard, but even that survived.
So many other people were not as lucky, and the devastation to parts of my own state is heartbreaking.
Getting to have Halloween without a postponement or cancellation due to the storm. The boys had so much fun.
Surviving my first parent teacher conference (because Kindergarten doesn't really count) ... 1st grade is the big time! So proud of how the Big Guy is doing in school.
And lastly, I am super thankful that my husband was able to pull some old videos off of my original Droid phone... while they couldn't all be salvaged, he did manage to get the most important one to me as well as several others. The boys were so small it brings me to happy tears to have them back. These videos were before I learned to YouTube. Speaking of, they will be coming to YouTube in the next few days.
