Thankful Thursday

It's Thursday so you know what that means. Linking up with Joanna for Thankful Thursday. I have to say I really like doing this. It can be so easy to get down about things, but having to think about the good each week is nice. Puts things in perspective.

This week I am thankful for:

Taking the boys advice and getting our Christmas tree early this year. We got it on Sunday and we have been decorating ever since. The boys find more things each day to put up and it is pretty cool to watch them so excited about it all.

Family dance offs courtesy of Dance Central 3.

Two girls nights out - Mingling Moms on Monday where I got to catch up with Becca and seeing Memphis from the tweet seats on Tuesday with Jen.

An unexpected blessing yesterday.

Having the Big Guy tell me he wanted to add more money to the holiday shopping money I was sending to school for him so he could get more for his brothers. I want to add some of my own money Mom! The boy hoards his money like crazy so it was adorable to watch him pick out 2 pennies and a dime. Yes. He added 12 cents. Still melted my heart. (I'm also thankful that I will be there working the holiday shopping so I can throw in some extra money for his purchase without him knowing if I have to.)

Listening to the Bunny Bee and the Doodle Bop ask each other all morning about what they should buy each other this afternoon. They both said to the other I want to get you something you like. And they are concerned about how they will shop together but hide something from their twin. Cuteness.

What are YOU thankful for this week?

  3. Thank you so much for the shout-out, J! I know what you mean about feeling burned out from blogging– that’s how I felt earlier this summer, too, with my other blog. Everyone needs a break. I’m glad you’ve had such a good summer– just stinks that it’s moving by too fast. I guess it’s on to Football Sundays! :) Love all the crossfit stuff, too– nice work!
