Leaving on a jet plane

What does Los Angeles, Jamba Juice and Parkour have in common?

I know.  Too obvious... right?

ME!

In case you missed my Facebook freak out Friday afternoon, I will fill you in.  I am going to LA on Wednesday and Thursday with 5 Minutes for Mom.  Jamba Juice is having a fitness blogger event and is sending a writer from 5 Minutes for Mom out to cover the event.

And I got the spot!

I can't remember the last time I have been so excited - and so scared at the same time.  I have never been out to the west coast and I don't particularly love flying... but I am doing it.  In 48 hours round trip no less.  With Jamba!  They had me at Jamba without any other details.  I developed an addiction on my first blogging trip in NYC last year (they don't have the stores in RI unfortunately) and ever since, no trip to NYC is complete without stopping for a smoothie.

Friday night I got to learn some of the details of my trip, though I don't know much yet.  They are flying me out Wednesday for Thursday's event which includes tasting a new line of products from their Live Fruitfully campaign and an introduction of 10 new fitness trends.

Which new trends?  JAM (Juicy Athletic Moves) by celeb choreographer Neda Soderqvist, weighted hoola hoop class (my grama was on that years ago!), parkour and more.

Oh yeah, I said parkour.

I had no idea I would be doing anything other than attending the event and writing about it... but I have this feeling participation will be required.  And all I can think of is this.

Wish me luck y'all.
