Throwback Thursday - 1st Family Vacation

Our first vacation as a family. July 2008 in New Hampshire. The twins had just turned one, the Big Guy was two and a half. I have the Doodle Bop and Al has the Bunny Bee.
I am about to burst keeping the secret of their next vacation.

Breaking the silence of the last week with this incredibly awesome Throwback Thursday photo. Al found it posted by one of his friends today. I made him send it to me so I could crop it after staring at the background for several seconds.

Um, that isn't ... um ... it is. Oh my God.

That would be me. With the ancient looking video camera. Hello 90's. Hilariously awesome. Don't even get me started on that video. And what on earth am I even wearing?! This was before Al's Junior Ring Ceremony at Norwich. Seeing Picard in the middle sort of makes me teary. Still can't believe he isn't here anymore. Or that we were just talking about him a few days ago and then this photo pops up. 

Memories I forgot all about, brought back with just one old photo. Right after this someone drove a golf ball into my ankle and Picard and the other guys I was with went after them. Because that's how it went at a military school. I loved every minute of the time I got to spend with all of these guys - and girls. (Stacy!)

June of 2010. Lincoln Woods. The summer I got brave and started taking the boys every.where. by myself. The twins were getting ready to turn 3 and the Big Guy was 4. I was searching for a totally different photo and this one brought tears to my eyes. Tiny boys.

Christmas morning 2009. The twins were just about 18 months old (the age the Big Guy was when they were born!), and the Big Guy had just turned 3 a few days prior.
Top left is the boys checking out their brand new play kitchen/BBQ grill set. The Big Guy going through his stocking is next to that. On the bottom is the Doodle Bop crying his eyes out because I had the nerve to take the wrapper OFF his pop so he could eat it. (Clearly Mommy ruined it.) And the Bunny Bee is opening a present.
Can't believe how much they have grown in just a few years.
